How much does it cost to rent a boat in Dubai?
Prices start from around AED 200 per hour for small boats and speedboats, with most mid-size yachts between AED 500 and 1,500 per hour. Large luxury yachts and megayachts range from AED 2,000 to 25,000+ per hour. Every listing shows its current hourly rate — no hidden fees.
What is included in the price?
Every charter includes the captain and crew, fuel, and standard safety equipment. Most boats also include water, ice, soft drinks, towels and a music system — each listing shows exactly what its boat provides.
Where do the boats depart from?
Most of our fleet departs from Dubai Harbour and Dubai Marina, with more options at Business Bay and Creek Harbour. Your booking confirmation includes the exact marina, gate and meeting point.
How do I book?
Choose a boat and send your request online, or use "Find it for me" and a Boat Expert will match you with the right boat for your date, group and budget. You confirm with a deposit — typically 50% — and pay the balance before or on the day.
Do I need a licence to rent a boat?
No. All our charters come with a professional captain and crew, so no licence or boating experience is needed — you and your guests just enjoy the trip.
Can we swim during the trip?
Yes — most itineraries include a swimming stop at a calm anchorage, and many boats carry swimming ladders, floats and snorkelling gear. Tell us it matters and we will match you to a boat set up for it.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Yes, on almost all boats you are welcome to bring your own food and beverages. Many boats also offer live BBQ from around AED 75 per person, or full catering on request.
Is it suitable for children and families?
Absolutely. Life jackets in children's sizes are provided, and we can point you to the most stable, family-friendly boats. Children are counted in the guest capacity.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. If the coastguard restricts sailing or the captain judges conditions unsafe, we reschedule your trip or refund your payment in full.
Can I celebrate a birthday or special occasion on board?
That is what we do best. Decorations, cakes, DJ setups and photographers can all be arranged — browse the Birthday and Yacht party collections, or tell the concierge what you are planning.
Do you do corporate events?
Yes — our larger yachts host teams and client events for 30 to 200+ guests, with catering, branding and AV options. See the Corporate collection for suitable boats.
How far in advance should I book?
For a normal weekend, a few days ahead is usually fine. For Fridays, sunset slots, New Year's Eve and F1 race weekend, book as early as you can — the best boats go first.
What is your cancellation policy?
Most boats offer free cancellation up to 72 hours before departure; specifics are shown per boat and in our terms and conditions. Weather cancellations by the captain are always rescheduled or refunded in full.
Which areas can we cruise to?
Typical routes cover Dubai Marina, JBR, Ain Dubai, Bluewaters, Palm Jumeirah, Atlantis and Burj Al Arab — longer charters can go further. Your captain will suggest the best route for your time on the water.
